Background: After watching a beautiful bouquet of roses go from an expensive gift to trash within a week, the idea came to create a business that would deliver flowers that would never die.  Thus, the concept of “Love in Bloom” was born in 2023.  Love in Bloom is the product name hosted under the website boutiqueofjoy.com.  This was done so that product line expansion in the future would be easily accommodated under one website.  We spent the better part of 2023, and well north of $20K, designing and building the business that would ultimately launch in 2024.  The business is currently set up for one-time sales, however, we also have the design and printed add-ons for monthly subscription sales.

Why are we doing an asset sale after only operating for a matter of months?  If you were to break the business down into two elements:  the creative side, we love;  the other side would be developing the online presence (driving traffic to the site), and that is where we fall short.  We were hoping for primarily organic growth.  We are not social media people nor do we have any real expertise in online advertising.  As such, we’ve only done ~ $750 in revenue and have come to the realization that we would need to focus on the social media side to drive traffic, and with both working full-time jobs, that simply isn’t where we want to spend our time.
